Staff Engineer to support to the Orion Crew Module (CM) Structures and Mechanisms Integrated Product Team (IPT) management team. The candidate shall have experience with large spacecraft or aircraft mechanical system design, integration, procurement support, test and operations. The candidate shall have an understanding of procurement support for large spacecraft programs with at least five (5) years of SAP experience.
Tasks Include
1) Monitor and facilitate release of technical drawings, SOWs, and procurement specifications;
2) Monitor and facilitate procurement of CM structures and mechanisms hardware using SAP;
3) Work with vendors and procurement group to ensure delivery dates are met.
Experience Required.
**5 years SAP Experience
** Bachelors Degree, Master preferred
**Strong technical and communicative skills
**Experience working for aerospace, military or other government agencies
** Self motivated, detail oriented, goal driven
**Passionate about space exploration
