Systems Engineer to support to the Orion Crew Module (CM) Thermal Protection System IPT. The candidate shall have experience with large spacecraft or aircraft mechanical system design, integration, test and operations. Candidates shall have have experience with the development of subsystem and component hardware and interface requirements. Final requirements will be input into CRADLE database. Familiarity with structural and thermal requirements.
Tasks Include
1) Coordinate across multiple disciplines
2) Review of contractual applicable documents for requirements pertinent to the subsystem
3) Development of requirements
4) Coordination with clients to review requirements.
Experience Required.
**5 years CRADLE experience (or something similar like DOORS)
** Bachelors Degree, Master preferred
**Strong technical and communicative skills
**Experience working for aerospace, military or other government agencies
** Self motivated, detail oriented, goal driven
**Passionate about space exploration
